The Storm’s Not the Enemy

The storm has been raging on for days,

And many say it will never end.

Well, everything has been in a haze,

But God will show us mercy, my friend.

And the end, there is a pot of gold.

You gotta follow the rainbow.

And rainbows form when the storms unfold,

But some storms just last for days, though.

I hear the angels calling.

Don’t worry, the sky’s not falling.

Mo chara*, why are you bawling?

It’ll just lead to worsen squalling.

We all face storms eventually,

’Cause all storms form naturally.

Be brave when the storm hits, mon ami**.

The storm’s not the enemy.

It’s not use to try and prevent.

No storm passes by with ease.

Don’t cover up and hide with intent.

The cure can be worse than the disease.

Some think that the world is ending.

Well, not everything lasts forever.

But we know the end time’s pending.

So, might as well make things better.

This doom and gloom is getting kind of old.

It’s time to start with the change now.

So, come on, min vän***, be brave and bold.

Come on, we already know how.

I hear the angels calling.

Don’t worry, the sky’s not falling.

Mo chara, why are you balwing?

It’ll just lead to worsen squalling.

We all face storms eventually,

’Cause all storms form naturally.

Be brave when the storm hits, mon ami.

The storm’s not the enemy.

It’s no use to try and prevent.

No storm passes by with ease.

Don’t cover up and hide with intent.

The cure can be worse than the disease.

Mina vänner, mina vänner, mina vänner****,

Not everything bad is coarse like sand.

Mina vänner, mina vänner, mina vänner,

Please get out of bla-bla-bla-bla-land.

Mina vänner, mina vänner, mina vänner,

Not everything bad is coarse like sand.

Mina vänner, mina vänner, mina vänner,

Please get out of bla-bla-bla-bla-land.

The storm’s last forever, we’ve been told,

But I don’t believe that story.

Let’s follow the rainbow down the road.

This doom and gloom’s getting boring.

I hear the angels calling.

Don’t worry, the sky’s not falling.

Mo chara, why are you bawling?

It’ll just lead to worsen squalling.

We all face storms eventually,

’Cause all storms form naturally.

Be brave when the storm hits, mon ami.

The storm’s not the enemy.

It’s no use to try and prevent.

No storm passes by with ease.

Don’t cover up and hide with intent.

The cure can be worse than the disease.

(The cure can be worse than the disease~)

The storm is not the enemy.
